This research was a descriptive correlational study. A total of 322 first-grade high school students from the Joghatai (a city in Iran) were selected as the study sample using a multi-stage cluster sampling method. The instruments used in this study included the Academic Buoyancy Scale (ABS), the Basic Needs Satisfaction in General Scale (BNSG-S), and the Achievement Goal Questionnaire- Revised (AGQ-R). Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that basic psychological needs and goal orientation had a significant positive correlation with academic buoyancy (P < 0.05). Regression analysis also revealed that the need for relatedness and mastery-avoidance goal orientation were able to predict academic buoyancy. Based on the findings of this study, basic psychological needs and goal orientation can be associated with students' academic buoyancy; therefore, it is essential to pay attention to these needs and adopt an appropriate goal orientation to improve students' academic buoyancy. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی رابطه نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی و جهت‌گیری هدف با پایستگی تحصیلیِ دانش آموزان بود. این پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی بود. تعداد 322 نفر از دانش آموزان دوره اول متوسطه شهر جغتای با روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای به عنوان نمونه پژوهش انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای مورداستفاده در این پژوهش شامل مقیاس پایستگی تحصیلی (ABS)، مقیاس ارضای نیازهای بنیادین عمومی (BNSG-S) و پرسشنامه هدف پیشرفت اصلاح شده (AGQ-R) بود. جهت تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی و جهت‌گیری هدف با پایستگی تحصیلی همبستگی مثبت و معناداری دارند (0.05>P). تحلیل رگرسیون نیز نشان داد نیاز به پیوند داشتن و جهت‌گیری هدف تسلط-اجتناب قادر به پیش بینی پایستگی تحصیلی هستند. بر اساس نتایج پژوهش حاضر، نیازهای بنیادین روان‌شناختی و جهت‌گیری هدف می‌توانند با پایستگی تحصیلی دانش آموزان در ارتباط باشند؛ بنابراین توجه به این نیازها و اتخاذ جهت‌گیری هدفی مناسب در راستای بهبود پایستگی تحصیلی دانش آموزان ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. https://www.recentpsy.com/article_210554_9c72cc1b2392ccb5df141d0322897163.pdf
