The objective of the present study was to examine the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between emotion regulation strategies and the use of social networks by female teachers. This research was descriptive and correlational in nature. The study population comprised female elementary teachers in Chabahar city during the 2023-2024 academic year. A total of 200 individuals were selected through the convenience sampling method and completed the social network usage questionnaire, the emotion regulation questionnaire (ERQ), and the Connor‐Davidson Resilience Scale (CD‐RISC). The data were subjected to path analysis. The findings revealed a statistically significant negative correlation between reappraisal and resilience, and use of social networks (P < 0.01). The path model also demonstrated an acceptable fit, indicating that resilience plays a mediating role in the relationship between emotion regulation strategies and the use of social networks. In light of the findings, it is imperative that teachers receive targeted training to enhance their emotion regulation and resilience, with a view to fostering positive outcomes in their use of social networks.
