In identifying the causes of weakness in teamwork skill, one of the researchers' hypotheses is insufficient attention to the teaching of this skill during childhood. The objective of the present study was to analyze the content of textbooks and the student educational network (SHAD) in elementary social studies lessons from the perspective of compliance with Maxwell's teamwork components. This research was conducted using a quantitative content analysis. The content of primary school social studies textbooks in Iran for the 2023-2024 academic year, along with the official content of the Student Education Network (SHAD), was selected using a census method and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics and Shannon entropy. The findings indicated that in social studies textbooks and the official content of the SHAD network, the component of "collaboration" is ranked first in terms of mention and promotion of Maxwell's teamwork, while the components of "compatibility" and "appreciation" are not mentioned at all. The results demonstrated a correlation between the ranking of textbook components and the SHAD network. Furthermore, the low frequency of the components mentioned indicates little attention to teaching this skill in the context of social studies textbooks and the content of the SHAD network for social studies lessons.
